I met Graham in a Portacabin back in the 80’s at Shell Haven, I was an apprentice and knew very little and GG was very much a hopeful and inspirational person to me as he was clearly very intelligent, funny and someone I’ve never forgot. Years later we met and played golf together and had one of the funniest days Golfing I can remember, Champagne, beer, snacks you name it, you never went without and not only that it was as if we’d never been apart, still mates, great bloke and a sorry loss to the Piping world and in general Rob Hones
